I saw you standing there
Your eyes were in a stare
I saw you standing there
Your eyes were in a stare
I caught you watching shoes
Your eyes were crystal blue
I saw you disappear
(disappear)
You were alone last night
(Out)
But out of sight
You fought through crowds and light
Is this scene becoming trite
Tell me
Was it out of spite
I asked you what was wrong
You smiled and sang along
Come on come on
I'm fine
Come on come on
Walk away
All alone we twist and turn
Like trees growing in the shadows
And all alone
Our hearts are grown
Waiting in shadows
I go to all the shows and attend all the pretty parties
And so it goes I'm finding holes in our personalities
I clean up good as though we should, treated like formality
But once I'm there, I can't help but stare
Watching mentalities
I spent three whole years inside my mind
I'm watching shoes
All alone we twist and turn
Like trees growing in the shadows
And all alone our hearts are grown
Waiting in shadows
And all alone we twist and turn
Like trees growing in the shadows
And all alone we try so hard to be noticed in shadows
“its hard to walk around with broken heart, day in day out, hoping tomorrow you’ll find it in one piece. With music you can connect those li’l shards, like tiny magnets they’ll come together and be, for a moment, whole again.” Girl interrupted

A truly phenomenal shoegaze album. It's simultaneously gentle yet loud and spacious in its dreamy atmosphere, all the while paired with some catchy infectious melodies all throughout. Can't recommend this album and this band enough. Visual Complexity
